Paramount Motors Pvt. Ltd., the authorised distributor of MG Motor in Nepal, unveiled the MG U9 EV Pickup and the MG HS in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) variants at the NAIMA Auto Show 2026, held at Bhrikutimandap, Kathmandu.
The unveiling took place on 11 August 2026, marking a significant addition to MG’s growing portfolio of electric and electrified vehicles in Nepal. The NAIMA Auto Show 2026 is being held from 11 to 16 August 2026 at Bhrikutimandap.
The MG U9 EV Pickup has been introduced in two variants — Luxury and Flagship. The Luxury variant is priced at NPR 98,99,000, while the Flagship variant is priced at NPR 1,11,00,000. Alongside the U9 EV Pickup, Paramount Motors also unveiled the MG HS in two electrified powertrain options. The MG HS HEV starts at NPR 1,19,99,000, while the MG HS Plug-in Hybrid starts at NPR 1,39,99,000.
The latest additions further strengthen MG’s commitment to offering Nepali customers a broader range of modern and electrified mobility solutions. The MG U9 EV Pickup brings together electric performance, versatility and capability, while the MG HS offers customers the flexibility to choose between hybrid and plug-in hybrid technology.
With the unveiling of the MG U9 EV Pickup and MG HS HEV and PHEV, Paramount Motors continues to expand the MG lineup in Nepal, offering customers more choices across electric and electrified mobility.
